Batman TV Series Merchandise Coming Soon
We may be seeing more action figures like this custom Adam West Batman by next Spring. Along with Bat-Phones, Batzooka's, and T-Shirts based on the 60's television series. Currently, the only TV series merchandise you can find are Batman based Hot Wheels vehicles.
Warner Brothers has finally resolved licensing issues, which the rights were owned by 20th Century Fox at the time the series was produced, and is now going to start producing all kinds of Bat-Goodies.
"For the first time in over 40 years we will be able to offer fans a full merchandise program that captures the classic, kitschy look and feel of the original 'Batman' TV show," said Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products. "This new licensing program allows our partners to take advantage of the characters, gadgets and humor that made the show a smash hit in its day and a perennial favorite decades later."
I am hoping this means that finally the series will be released on DVD. Any one else excited about this?
