I absolutely loved The Dark Knight Rises and I have already seen it twice in it's three week run so far. I will probably see it one more time in IMAX at least before I wait with anticipation of the Blu Ray/DVD release. I am not sure what it is about the final Batman film for Christopher Nolan and team, but it is almost addicting for me. Maybe its Anne Hathaway's portrayal of Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman. Can I get a MEOW!
However, when it comes to the Target exclusive The Dark Knight Rises Battle For Gotham City action figure set, I know it's the Catwoman action figure based on Anne Hatthaway's Selina Kyle that hooked me into buying this set. That little gal also caught the eye of my buddy Eric Stettmeier and I went ahead and picked one up for him since he had hard time finding one is area. I have also had several Followers of The Batcave Toy Room tell me they would like to have one as well, but were unsure if they wanted to spend $22 on this set, when all they really wanted was that darn Catwoman figure. Well, here's your chance to own one kitty lovers.
The Batcave Toy Room is giving away this cool exclusive figure set to Followers of the site. I was going to start opening up contest to everyone, but I am going to keep it exclusive to Followers of this site. So many of you told me you wanted this set and so many of you visit here regularly that I feel you deserve an exclusive shot of owning this set for yourself.
Here's the rules:
- Need to be a Follower of The Batcave Toy Room.
- Need to leave a comment on this post as to why you would like to have this set of action figures.
- Leave one additional comment. Either on a future post or a past post. No, one word comments like cool, nice toy, awesome, (Hey, I am guilty of that too folks) but comments need to have some meat and potatoes behind them.
So, that's it gang. Sorry, I started this contest late in the month, but the contest starts now and ends at 11:59 P.M. PST on August 31, 2012. Winners will be announced on or around September 1, 2012. Good luck.

Oh cool another awesome contest John and you know i want in on this one so please enter me. : )
ReplyDeleteNow there is really two reasons i want this set...1) Catwoman! I really want a version of this Catwoman in this scale.
2) The "Stealth Mission" Batman is just awesome and reminds so much of the "Fox" of the old Mighty Crusaders comic books who was/is a favorite of mine.
Yes, I do. You're in JBoy. I was really hoping to see Catwoman separately, but I think Eric was right, it isn't happening.
DeleteThis set would be a great addition to my budding Batman collection. Though I focus on other things like collecting Dukes of Hazzard, I have quite a few Batmans popping their heads out from behind a General Lee.
ReplyDeleteWelcome aboard Larry! You're in for the running. Hopefully, we can give your Batman collection a boost. It would be cool to see if the General Lee could give the Batmobile a run for its money.
DeleteAwesome! Obviously I won't enter because you already sent me a set but this is a very cool contest, and I will be sure to mention it over on my blog in an upcoming Catwoman Purrrsday!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think I need to set a time frame before someone can win another prize like radio stations do. ;-) Aweseome! Thanks Eric.
DeleteOh wow my boys would love that to add to there batman collection, there huge fans :)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. You qualify to win this, but you need to add yourself as a follower to complete your entry.
DeleteWow! This is certainly a very good contest! I want this set because my brother and I are Batman fans first and Batman collectors, second. And also, because this is a very good set with the main characters from the movie!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm from Chile! Greetings from ViƱa del Mar!
Welcome to The Batcave Toy Room and thanks. I absolutley love this set and I hope the winner enjoys it just as much.
DeleteHow tall are they?
ReplyDeleteThey are 3 3/4 inch figures.
DeleteWell, we have no Target in the great state of Vermont, so I won't be stumbling across this set any time soon. Also, any group of action figures where my son gets Batman and my daughter gets ANY sort of female figure is awesome. Trying to keep a 14 year old girl interested in toys and comics is a job in and of itself!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to The Batcave Toy Room! No Target? Holy missing out!
