I had a bit of an accident while rearranging The Batcave Toy Room and knocked this acrylic case off a shelf. Unfortunately, it busted the bottom portion of the case into pieces. The good news is the vintage Star Wars tri-logo carded Imperial Stormtrooper (Hoth Battle Gear) was perfectly safe. The bad news is these cases aren't exactly cheap. At $14.00 a piece, I could get an action figure or two, depending on the type. Anyway, the case did it's job and protected the figure. At least I have a few spares hanging around to replace it.

Totally looking forward to pics from the new display. I am doing the same around here. It's exciting to see all the great things I forgot that I had.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same Kal. It's cool to see things I haven't seen for a while. Pics coming soon. Looking forward to seeing yours.
DeleteGlad to see that your action figure made it away safe and sound John.
ReplyDeleteThanks JBoy, me too.
DeleteOuch. close call!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the best place to buy those acrylic cases. I have only looked at eBay, but there's probably a better vendor out there.
I buy them from The Earth Toy Mall. You can check out all of their action figure display cases here http://www.theearthtoymall.com/discas.html. They are also great for getting replacement parts and boxed and loose toys as well.
DeleteActually a Very BIG difference between their insanity... Like you said.."The Joker goes with how he feel at that moment... " That much is true... But he has so Many different demented "persona" Inside ..he is normally an assortment of them at any given time...( I too have "fragmentation disorders") ..His truly twisted sense of humor ...and his Madness is what "drives" Him... To an extent The Joker "re-invents" his persona each day...
ReplyDeleteWhere as Harvey has an internal constant battle between his Two persona
He uses the coin to make most All of his decisions...thus leaving things up "to Fate"....Fate may be "fickle" at times ... but "Fate" is always "fair"...
