Sneak Peek At New Superman Toys For 2013
I was looking forward to seeing Man of Steel in 2012, but as everyone knows it has been moved to a June 14, 2013 release date, which also means no new movie related Superman toys until 2013 either.
Here's a glimpse of the Superman toys coming next year with some interesting commerciasl that undoubtedly will be re-edited with clips from the latest Superman adventure. The leaked commercials also give what appears to be some plot details of the upcoming Christopher Nolan produced film. Revealing a General Zod, that seems to resemble Lex Luthor to me, and a robot army.
For me, these toys aren't really all that exciting. The Stretch Armstrong like Super Exploders could be kind of cool until they get a limb or two ripped off Superman's torso. Also, did anyone know the Fortress of Solitude could fly?
What do you think of these new toys?

ReplyDeleteSure thing JBoy. Sometimes old is new again. We'll have to wait see what else Mattel has up their sleeves for Man of Steel.
DeleteThat rotating Zod spaceship looks pretty sweet. Thanks for the share.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure Cal. Yes, the Zod spaceship is a bright spot in that set. Looking forward to what else is coming out next year.
DeleteStretch Armstrongish style, with a smaller body and larger arms. Should be fun and make it more rare as a collectible.
