31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge: Day 10

Echo Station Three-T-Eight. We have spotted Imperial Walkers!

Here's a peak at my now complete Hoth Turret Defense action playset from my Star Wars Micro Collection. My contact came through again with more figures to reinvigorate my micro collection. I also went ahead and kept my Rebel Soldiers from my "Build Your Armies" set figures together with others from this playset.

I wish I could display this set together with the rest of the playsets from Kenner's Hoth World, but there isn't enough room for them all on the same shelf. So this set is on display on the shelf above.

I originally had displayed the Millennium Falcon on the same shelf as the Turret Defense, but decided to move the Falcon over to the cabinet containing my Bespin World playests. This will free up space for a future purchase of a Micro Collection Snow Speeder.

Per a request by Hobgoblin238 from Monster Cafe and Bar, here's a size comparison of the Micro Collection Figures and the vintage Star Wars 3 3/4 action figures.

If you are hoping for a more in depth look at these playests and vehicles have no fear. I will be doing in depth looks at them in the near future.

    1. Me too Dan. The Hoth toys are always the best. Especially, Kenner's vintage AT-AT.

  3. I hate that stuff gets lost in translation via internet. Thank you for the pic...But I really meant how does a 3 inch Star Wars figure look in the micro machine playset...Could this rebel trooper hang out in the hoth world playset?

  4. The 3 3/4 figures don't fit with the playsets from this series. On a display stand point I think it's a personal peference. I have done diarama type stuff where I might have the Ion Cannon playest far in the background and the 3 3/4 version of the turrets forward for a depth perception display that looks cool from a camera standpoint, but I think it's up to the collector whether they want to combine the two lines.
