Kapow! And so it begins. The first of the Batman TV series merchandise has found its way to retailers.

Day 24 of my 31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge found me taking a bit of a breather. I decided to take a "me day" and just do whatever came to mind. Mainly, I took my super cool, yet non geek wife to lunch. Followed by a matinee showing of The Great Gatsby.

My wife had hurt her wrist playing tennis recently and her last match of the Spring season was this Saturday. So, we ran over to our local Dick's Sporting Goods to find her a wrist brace and while we were at the mall I ventured over to Hot Topic.

I knew the new Batman TV Series T-shirts were coming out this week and sure enough, there they were waiting for me at the front door.

Today really wasn't a toy room kind of day, but I decided to treat myself to some Batman pop culture merchandise. I was only going to buy one, but when I went to the cashier she told they were buy one, get one half off  I couldn't pass up the deal.

The shirt's are $20, but you can pick up a second for $10.

Just might be time for another give-a-way contest.
