Vintage Star Wars Toy Collection from the Batcave Toy Room

 It was the best of plans. It was a plan that just never made it completely into production.

Well, for the most part it did. Day 18 of my 31 Days to a Better Toy Collection Challenge reveals that the very tippy top of the walls in the Batcave Toy Room are lined with action figures.

Everything from vintage Star Wars action figures to Mego World's Greatest Super Heroes doll figures, but not only the vintage versions, but their newer counterparts as well.

From the reactivation of the Star Wars line in the early 90's to Mattel's attempt to strike Mego gold with their Retro Action DC Super Heroes line every inch of wall space (with the exception of one compiled with posters) has figures.

However, there was one wall that I had originally planned to have two rows of blister card goodness. Generally, each wall begins with the vintage versions and is then followed by the modern equivalents. So, I've continued with that theme, although, this main wall would have had a complete row of vintage specimens and second row of the retooled type.

This plan ended as I added another row of boxed playsets and vehicles, which blocked a chance at a second row. However, this allowed for more toys to fit in the room and in the end works for the best.

One day there will be a toy room big enough to hold the entire lines of vintage Star Wars, Mego WGSH, and Super Power toys...I promise.
