Not Knowing When to Leave Well Enough Alone with Your Toy Collection

Many of the vintage Star Wars toys in The Batcave Toy Room
On day 6 of my 31 Days to a Better Toy Collection I revealed a shelf in the Toy Room that I was completely content with, but on Day 12 I had to go and change things up again.

Space is limited and in order to put as much as I possibly can in my room of childhood treasures I had to create another row of vintage Star Wars toys on this top shelf. Originally, I had planned to do another row of action figures on the wall in that spot, but in order to increase shelf space it had to be done.

The hard part was also lining up boxes that were relatively the same size to keep the level, seamless appearance. I also filled in some blanks with additional toys on other shelves. I intended to strictly keep these shelves and this section of the room Star Wars and Empire related, but now they also contain some Return of the Jedi Logo toys. We'll see if that sticks.

I had planned to work on multiple restorations projects, but things hadn't worked out the way I had intended. So, I plan to work on them during the week. The keyword being...plan.

    1. I wish it would had electronics and played dialogue and sounds from ESB like its cousin the Imperial Troop Transporter, but still it's a fun toy.

  2. I am not a Star Wars collector but those pictures are beautiful. That is a love affair. But I love the look of everything with that similar box design and style on display.

  3. I understand about changing things up John I do it all the time on the Cosmic Ark but my space is even less than yours and my collection of things much smaller but it's just a natural thing for us toy collectors/fans to do. Everything you did looks great.
