Holy Post Office!
I don't know if I have ever received these many boxes of toys in the mail in a week. August is '66 Batman month here at the Batcave Toy Room as the first of the long awaited Batman toys start to ship.
Based on the shipments I'm tracking it looks like I will be receiving a package every other day for the almost the entire month. So, that means I will be posting quite a bit this month with a look at and reviews of Mattel's Classic Batman TV Series line of toys.
Tune in for the weeks come to the same Bat-Blog for a look at Mattel's:
- Batman and Robin 2-pack
- Batmobile
- Batusi Batman
- Barbie Catwoman and Ken Batman (Yes, BubbaShelby the tea will be ready for you)
- Batman, Riddler, and Penguin
- Joker
- Surf's Up Batman
- Catwoman
Is anyone else excited as I am about this new line of Batman TV series toys?

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see all of your 66' Bat-Goodies and your thoughts on them John.
The Surf's Up Batman seems to the most popular of the first wave John Boy. Tune in next week...Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel.
DeleteI am more looking forward to the figsinc line.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to them as well. There is a delay with the first waive of replica Mego figures. I hope there isn't a delay with the TV series versions too.
DeleteMy summer bat stuff is on the way too. I am almost too excited to open up the boxes. People who don't collect figures don't understand how much we love the anticipation as much as the ownership. Looking forward to your posts.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Kal. I know. It's the best feeling in world that many will never know what it is like. I am probably going to get two sets of everything. One to open and enjoy and one to keep MIP. Tune in next week for the Bat-Goodies.
DeleteGotta have that Surfs up Batman! Can't wait to see all your reviews!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely the Bat-Collectors figure of choice these days. Hang in there old chum. They will start next week.
