These people live a life that I not only dream of, but that I want. Geek part is down pat. Need to use my skills and serve a purpose. It's in the works.

There's always that dream that someone would stumble across my blog and say, "Hey, we need that guy to write for us!". It still hasn't happened yet. I think part of my problem is my relative isolation from, well, anywhere. It's an hour north or south to visit anywhere, it's kinda hard to go see new movies, or even make it to smaller conventions.

Yes, the hobby aspect keeps this Batman from turning into the Joker, but the hobby is becoming an obsession and I am a firm believer that people should turn their passions into a living. Just need to open the right door to make that happen.

ReplyDeleteNerdist, Geek & Sundry, Anovos, Her Universe, Hollywood Heroes, Collider, Toyriffic all started somewhere. Need to pick avenue and just do it. They all did, but sometimes one man can't do it alone. Sometimes it takes a village.
