Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con 2017...Big on Security, but Even Bigger on Fun

Geek Life Industries' Batcave Toy Room was on the floor at this years 5th annual Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con held at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 23-25. Amidst the updated safety procedures of banning several types of cosplay weapons and props, this years event housed a record breaking 33,000 attendees.

Aside from the usual creativity of Coplayers in attendance, this year also appealed to Geek Culture in the way of celebrity appearances. Marvel Comics Legend Stan Lee was in attendance along with actors from the Star Wars franchise, Ray Park (Darth Maul) and Peter Mathew (Chewbacca). Although, the late Adam West was scheduled to appear before his untimely death, Batman co-stars Burt Ward, Julie Newmar, and Lee Meriwether also made an a showing.

After a man carrying a loaded gun was arrested at the Phoenix Comic Con a month prior, Cosplayers were ask to dress down a bit weapon wise. A small inconvenience for being able to attend a Con that was tons of fun.
